I have an academic background in Experimental Materials Physics, specializing in disordered material structures, including glasses and bioglasses. During my research, I conducted extensive data modelling and analysis to uncover insights into these materials.
My strong curiosity for programming led me to independently learn VBA, SQL, and Python. This expertise allowed me to work as an Excel-based data analyst for a container shipping company, where I developed my skills in data extraction, analysis, and interpretation to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, I created customized Excel and Access applications for small businesses, enabling them to optimize their operations and enhance efficiency.
A pivotal moment in my career came when I transitioned to a professional service firm, where I currently serve as an Associate Consultant within the wealth division. focusing on data cleansing projects related to Guaranteed Minimum Pensions (GMP) Equalization. Here, I blend my expertise in data analysis with a passion for problem-solving to deliver strategic insights and innovative solutions to our clients.
